For more than a decade, we've invested in young people and seen firsthand what's possible when they have access to meaningful opportunities and resources. We believe paid work helps them develop a strong work ethic through hands-on experience.

Youth Marketing Academy is a summer internship program for local high school students. Interns learn the digital marketing skills needed to support Joy Thrift's online store, including using AI software to draft listings and creating with tools like Canva. They also work alongside professional volunteers affiliated with our organization and build connections with them.

Some students have continued working with us after the summer while attending school. We've also helped students secure professional internships and college scholarships. Many are the first in their families to attend college in the United States.

We hope to keep growing the internship program and help more students get on track to thrive in professional careers or build successful businesses.
