Your in-kind donations make a meaningful difference at Joy Thrift. While dropping items off at a chain store in the suburbs may be more convenient, we’re especially grateful when you choose to donate to us.

You’re welcome to drop off donations during store hours, Tuesday through Saturday, 11 a.m.–7 p.m. For easy unloading, use the small loading dock at the back of the building and ring the doorbell. You may also bring donations in through the front door—whichever is easiest for you.

We’re unable to offer pickups, though we may make limited, case-by-case exceptions if you call us (ex., clearing out a house). Our store is closed Sundays and Mondays, but we’re often in and out catching up. If you’re dropping items off while we’re closed, please leave them neatly by the back door so we can collect them when we return.

We accept most items, with the exception of large furniture, equipment, appliances, mattresses, cribs, and perishable food.
