Joy Thrift operates as a DBA of One New Humanity, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of immigrants, refugees, and under-resourced residents of Hamtramck, Michigan. More than half of our neighbors belong to one or more of these groups. At just 2.2 square miles, Hamtramck is Michigan's most densely populated city and borders Detroit. Every purchase from our community store or online directly supports programs that transform lives in our city. Here are a few of the programs Joy Thrift has helped support.

-Urban Farming Residency in Banglatown

-Sylhet Farm Community Garden

-Sisterhood Fitness
